Immediate opening: earthmoving equipment operator (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Meade County, Kentucky. You will be based on a quarry floor. You should have: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
