Shuttering carpenter wanted in King George County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in King George County, Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Rotating shifts.
