We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Craig County, Virginia. The job is at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts You will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets.
