Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Part-time with flexible hours.
