You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays.
