You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
