Great opportunity: we are hiring a window glazier in Sunderland, England. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame Rotating shifts.
