Fabricator-welder — Kudan

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kudan, Kaduna State. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Meals and transport allowance provided.
