360 excavator operator — Kodiak Island Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
