We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Lincoln County, Georgia. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day-to-day duties: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
