Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
