Immediate opening: occupational health and safety officer (Mississippi)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Perry County, Mississippi. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
