Great opportunity: milling machinist (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Southampton County, Virginia. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
