Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Yola North, Adamawa State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
