Immediate opening: uPVC welding machine operator (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Franklin County, Washington. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
