Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Fulton County, Georgia. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
