Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Isles of Scilly, England. Your main tasks: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
