Stainless steel welder — Sawyer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sawyer County, Wisconsin. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
