We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coater in Newaygo County, Michigan. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens On the job you will handle: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches Rotating shifts.
