Vacancy available: concrete placer (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Benton County, Mississippi. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Day to day you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout.
