Commercial refrigeration engineer • Parke County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Parke County, Indiana. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Your main tasks: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
