Now hiring: foundry worker (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
