Rigger wanted in Borough of Oldham

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Borough of Oldham, England. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings We offer £16 per hour plus benefits.
