Milling machinist wanted in Daviess County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Daviess County, Indiana. The job is in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
