On a typical shift you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
