Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Gabasawa, Kano State. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Six days a week, one day off.
