Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Somerset County, New Jersey. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day to day you will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport.
