Concrete worker wanted in Hood County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Hood County, Texas. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
