Vacancy available: tig welder (Idaho)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Clark County, Idaho. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
