Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Highlands County, Florida. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
