Rebar worker wanted in Saint James Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
