You should have: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Your main tasks: • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
