Urgent requirement: safety officer (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Part-time with flexible hours.
