Shuttering charge hand wanted in Dubuque County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
