Commercial refrigeration engineer • Pottawattamie County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You will check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Part-time with flexible hours.
