We are recruiting: reinforcement fitter (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Dickinson County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
