Now hiring: reinforcement steel fixer (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Reno County, Kansas. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
