We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Your main tasks: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Six days a week, one day off.
