Now hiring: we are hiring a site labourer in Sullivan County, New York. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
