Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Mercer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Mercer County, Ohio. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Rotating shifts.
