Now hiring: we are hiring a stone mason in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a stone processing yard. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Own hand tools an advantage Your main tasks: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps 2+ years on the tools preferred.
