Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Reagan County, Texas. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
