Occupational health and safety officer wanted in La Crosse County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will work on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Part-time with flexible hours.
