Join our team: offshore rigger (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Williamson County, Illinois. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
