Now hiring: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat You should have: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Performance bonus on top of base pay.
