Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Essex County, New York. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel On the job you will handle: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
