We are recruiting: foundry operative (Nasarawa State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Keffi, Nasarawa State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
