Safety marshal • Adams County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Adams County, Illinois. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. The role involves: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 4+ years on the tools preferred.
