Garment machinist • Clay County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Clay County, Texas. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
