Gang bricklayer • Mubi South, Adamawa State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Mubi South, Adamawa State. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
